Resin 7-PLY & (book) — is a 6.5 x 9.5 inch publication, the first book of a series of four. It explores the concept of dual cultures within skateboarding. The first issue explores the subculture of “moto-skate”. It goes in depth with the exploration of the fusion of chopper and skate culture.The publication features photoessays, interviews, a time line, historical and editorial text. Resin 7-PLY & serves as one of the first series of projects to explore the future of skateboarding culture. I needed to do research in order to develop the final product. For me design is not only about the organization of content but also the development of content.
